Photos from October
It has been a while to post something new. Our camera is broken so I have to borrow one to take any photos now. We are planning to get it fixed. Please pray that the funds will be provided very soon. Kids went many birthday parties in October. Joonathan’s, friends invitation, shows….. I was able to take some photos.
Happy Birthday, Jonathan!

At the Friends party. Katrina participated the game in Spanish. She did very well and got prize
.

We participated annual fund raising event at one of orphanages that we help. Kids did show and Josue did some games. Once he called for mommies to participate the game but there were few volunteers so he called me on the spot. I had to go on the stage….

TTL that we have more space after the room change! I even have space for nic nacs like candles, shells, lamps and what not in our room. Daddy painted the room after these photos are taken.

Perros (Dogs)
We have 8 dogs in our house! We had 3. Then public school that some of our kids are going offered us 2 puppies. They are German shepard. Florence took one and Natali A. took the other. Then we were offered Poodles. There were 4 of them! Natalie gave the other one to her brother and got the poodle. Florence gave one to our friend and got another one. Then Sunny got one and our friend wanted one, too. That is how we ended up with 8 dogs. But we are taking 1 to our friends place tomorrow. 3 of them are moving on to another place. So we will have 4 at the end. We have schedule for kids to go around the house hourly to pick up poops and such. Kids are having great fun with them!

Vacation Summer 2009 – part 4 –
Day 10:
We went back to where we started and stayed at the hotel that we stayed at day 1. We went swimming, of course.
Day 11:
We need to pick up the passports. We woke up early and went for a big drive to the next hotel contact. We stopped at the nice rest area with palyground:

There was a mini museum, too.

Day 12:
Here is Elena at the passport office which is on the 30th floor! It went well and we were able to get the passport smoothly.

We visited an aquerium after. There are some animals and rides there as well.

We went on the “shark train”. It goes through the tunnel of tank that is full of sharks. Here are JP and Flo. looking at the sharks swimming above them:
And you see something like along the way:

And a shark jumps out of the water all of sudden, Elena really liked this one:

We are on the ferris wheel. I don’t like the hights but had to acompany Elena. I was closing my eyes most of the time but managed to take some photos when it wasn’t so high:

Day 13:
We were planning to drive back home this day but Daddy came up with the idea to provision a hotel on our way to get some rest. The Lord answered our prayers and gave us a nice place at the perfect location. We enjoyed the swimming, too.

Day 14:
We made it back home safely. The Lord kept us from any sickness or accident whole time. We ate very good, stayed at very nice places, went so many places and had so much fun! TTL for His protection, supply and answers to our prayers! It was a wonderful vacation!!

Day 8:
We left the mountain and drove 8 hours to the hotel. We were over 8000 feet! I took this photo from the van.

I liked this hotel. It had nice taste. There ere many small gardens with lots of greens and fountains in each section.

And pool, of course!

Day 9:
We drove another 5 hours to next hotel. More swimming and SPA!
We visited County Fair in the evening! We saw animal and vegitables display and kids enjoyed rides, too! I never went to those thing before. It was very interesting!

Katrina is in blue one, Natalie and Elena are in pink one…

Flo. is the brave one. This is a big swing goes round and round….

Day 9:
We went to visit little village on the mountain close by. It is over 8000 feet though.
Higher you go, greener it gets….

Kids had fun at the playground.

And they had fun at another playground after the swimming. Lots of exercise!

Vacation Summer 2009 – Part 2 -
Day 4:
Here is the big lake! Kids were looking forward to go fishing so that’s what we did first. However they didn’t catch any fish that day…..

“We like fishing, too!”
In the afternoon we went swimming at the lake.

There are lifeguard on duty at this place and they give you swimming test. If you past the test, you can go further with life jacket. So here goes David. They sais it is 30 feet deep….

Day 5:
Daddy, Flo. and JP got up at 5:30 am and went fishing. Flo. caught a fish, Hal! Flo. didn’t want to hold the fish for photo. It is hard to see but it is rainbow trout.

We visited Discovery Center in the afternoon and went hiking.

Taking a break during the hiking.
Day 6:
Early morning fishing expedition continued. TTL that JP caught a fish!

We went to historical museum in the afternoon. I had a camera but forgot to take batteries!!
Daddy provisioned Mexican restaurant for dinner. The lady was so sweet and fed us very good. I am not sure what I ordered but it was biiiiiiiig and heavy stuff. It was yummy though. I only ate half and kept the rest for next day lunch. This is HALF of it: French fries, cheese, beef, tomato, onion, cliantro and avocado.

Day 7:
This is a last day at the cabin.
There was no fish for last day of early morning fishing expedition.
We went to the Zoo in the afternoon. Daddy prosioned it and even came with tour guide! This zoo has animals from that live in the area.

Here is pretty Florence by the pretty flowers.

JP listening to the guide very earnestly. He likes wild animals.

There is an owl behind Elena.

Here is a hedgehog.

Snowy owl. I didn’t know that they don’t fly but walk.
Then we went fishing for last time and Flo. caught another fish!

When we went fishing for first time here, we were at the end of the lake. This time we were at the another end of the lake. There are many big rocks there. yong ones had fun climing while the others were fishing. Natalie said she was playing “Women vs. Wild”

Here is another one.

Daddy provisioned another Mexican restaurnat for dinner. TYJ! I took a photo of my plate which is “Burito Combo” . It is huuuge! David is holding his finger by the plate so that you can get the idea of how big it is. It has carne asada, green, yellow and red pepper and onion inside. Super yummy! By the way I only ate half and kep the rest for next day. The Lord provided another 5 huuuge bean buritos and pizza as well which we used it next day for breakfast and dinner. TTL for His supply!
