Natali’s Birthday Party

It was a big day with lots of fun. It started with …..

Big soccer game at the park. There goes JP, he is really good at it and Florence took this shot. Good one!

Younger ones played at the same park. Natali and Natalie wanted to stay home and play.

Little girl was sitting on top of the slide and was too scared to slide down. Elena had to wait long time till her parent came to get her….

Then we went back home and played ping pong!  Serious game continues….

I played so many serious games and completely wiped out at the end of the day and my body was aching next day. We are planning to  have another game next week.

New Year Eve

Happy New Year!! We love you and pray that you all had wonderful Christmas and new year….

At the new year eve, Faithy made posole with turkey (super yummy!).  Also we had punche (hot drink with lots of fruits, suger cane, etc)    

Josue serving posole, actualy he is standing on the stool as the pot is so big and tall.

Then we had candle light service.

And bon fire! Marshumallow, of course!

And firework… This one is supposed to go round and round on the ground. But Esteban came with the idea of putting it inside the marshmallow. Then put it in the fire and it will go up in the air. Everyone enjoyed it very much.

This pic. is taken at 1:30 am. They are the one that stayed up till the end.  Actualy they  wanted to stay up till sun rise but we, adults were getting bit tired and went to bed around 3:00 am including Elena. As soon as she went to bed, she felt asleep just like that. I was surpsied she lasted that long though. Esteban is eating posole in th pic. above… I had one before went to bed, too.  Everybod enjoyed the evening and it was great!

Christmas Parties

We had party #1 on the 24th for our home and #2 on the 25th for friends. Joseph was a cook for both days. We had ham (super yummy) for party #1 and turkey for party #2.  We haven’t fixed our broken camera nor buy new one so I don’t have many pics, sorry!

It was provisioned at the place, supposed to be the best ham shop in nearby city.

After dinner, we sang and danced around the fire in our back yard…. 

More Christmas Photos

I lost track of what I have posted. It was busy Christmas….. After the witnessing push,  we had 2 Christmas dinner, one for our home and the other one with friends. we opened presents and finaly getting rested. TTL, it was very frtuiful and fulfilling time!

After the show, kids participated pinata. At the end they thraw the candies and kids were trying to pick them.

 This is at posada of Catholic church. People really liked our show! They had very good posole, too! Each kids got candy bag and they even gave one to us, adults! It was full of kiss chocolate with one huge one! Kids have been asking for it but I haven’t opned it yet.

People really liked the show and photo session took place after the show. Elena was a big hit!

I will post more later but we did another show at the children’s hospital today. When we were setting up, we realized we forgot to bring extention code!! We e found one that they were using for Christmas tree at the hospital but we only could use one mic! Everyone was tempted to panic! TTL for the power of praise and rise above! Josue came up with new arrengement for the Christmas story right then. When it came to one song which Katrina sings, Katrina was already front of the stage as Mary! Now who will be the singer? No one wanted. Then Elena said “I will!” So here is Elena proudly singing away .  Actualy she did really well!

  

Second Christmas Show

It was for older people. It was nice warm day and went well. Everyone was responding very well, too! 

Faithy and kids leading ” food song” before lunch. They said they made 900 tamales!

New Bikes for Everyone!

Florence already posted the photo but yes, we all got new bikes! Not in the photo but David and adults, too!  What a blessing! PTL! We had busy weekend and I am still recovering from it…..  

First Christmas Show

It was at one of plazas in the afternoon. People were still working on puppets all morning on that day and did  rehersal right before their departure time which was all by faith. Kids had a lot to say about what went wrong behind the stage. However I was watching it in front and think it went very well. PTL!!
