This is Christmas Eve. We had Christmas cake that Mary made for the Party for breakfast. It was super yummy,  good job, Mary!

Trip to Japan – Part. 1

I made it to Japan safely. I changed plane 4 times and total traveling time was 23 hours. It was a real work out but I made it.  Photo below was before leaving Juarez. We were having great lunch together! Raymond and Esther kindly took me in before my departure, Joy and Anaik were visiting as well. Thank you so much Raymond and Esther! It was so nice to see you, Joy and Anaik!

I arrived at the airport 10:30 pm. I stayed at small business hotel one night and off to HCS. The day that I arrived HCS, they were having Christmas Party for friends.  So I jumped in to help prepare the party. Here is Mary making real Christmas Cakes with Christmas color and Christmas tree shape. I am wrapping cookies to give away to the visitors.  Later on I borrowed a dress from Praise and helped serving and what not.  Being away from home, it was a real blessing to be able to feel the spirit of Christmas. Thank you so much for having me, HCS people!!

Hiromi worked very hard and prepared chicken dinner. I don’t have a photo but she also created Christmas tree with mushed potato. :

Trip to Zamora, Part 3

Also I made a trip to Cuernavaca bringing Florence. Warm sunshine, lots of trees and flowers, it was so beautiful there, too.

It was an awesome trip! We will be back sometime ext year, DV!

Big “Thank You” to Josue & Faithy, Stephen & Gaby, Raymond & Esther and everyone for your hospitality, friendship, prayers for my head and the situation! My trip continues and I will be off to Japan next week. I appreciate continual prayers for my safe return.  Thank you again!!

Trip to Zamora, Part. 2

Trip to Zamora, Part 1

I just came back from 2 weeks trip to Zamora. It was great! It was very peaceful and beautiful there, simple life but full of life, laughter,  good food, trees and flowers, etc, etc. Kids had so much fun with their friends. I was battling with headache but thanks to everyone’s prayers, I am feeling much better now.

We had privileges to participate 2 shows during our stay which was a real miracle. Kids did very well! It was like good old days…..

Here is Florence, helping to set up the stage. Now she is visiting Cuernavaca till February.

One of the highlights of the trip was this kitten, Whisker.  Kids had so much fun playing with her.
